This is a collection of postcards sent by strangers.

In the fall of 2003, while on a road trip through New Mexico, I began secretly leaving self-addressed postcards in public places – to be found, written on and mailed back.

One side is stamped and reads, “Mail Me! But first write or draw something about you, life or whatever on the other side!”  The other side is blank.

I’ve only left them while traveling. They’ve been found on park benches, locked bikes, statues, bulletin boards, newspaper racks and fruit stands; as well as in library books, coffee shops, airports, dressing rooms, diner menus and even 500 feet underground.

I have received nearly 400 back. Here are some of them. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. 🙂
